Orlando, Fla.—Goliath Carts has introduced two new products during NACE, in Orlando, Fla., recently with the P1 Prep Cart and the L1 Laptop Security Cabinet.
The new products were designed to complement the G1 mobile powered cart, which provides shops with a fully functional self-powered computer work station that can run for four days on a single charge and brings a “desktop on wheels” directly to a vehicle, improving efficiency and production time, said Dito Diez, who is co-owner of Goliath Carts, located in Murrieta, Calif., along with Bruce Newell.
The P1 Prep Cart streamlines a paint department’s workflow and gives a shop owner a tool to manage and control inventory by providing a technician with all necessary supplies in an enclosed environment, which ensures a minimum amount of contamination during work, Diez said.
“It eliminates the common practice of grabbing materials from an open, unsecured cart, and it can be restocked by the tech as necessary,” he said.
The L1 Laptop Security Cabinet is a wall-mounted laptop unit with an electric touch pad and key to maintain security of its contents, Diez said.
“Shops can give their techs and employees access for logging in and out of jobs as well as access for diagnostics and repair procedures while providing secure storage in a clean environment,” he said.
Diez added that the unit is well vented with access for cables, a removable back plate for electrical outlet placement, and an audible alarm when security is breached.
